"I love when people that have been through hell walk out of the flames carrying buckets of water for those still consumed by the fire." – Stephanie Sparkles
I love being one of those people. My buckets are so full of healing for the world.
As a Wounded Healer, one of the ways that I find meaning in my life is by using the wisdom gifted to me by my path to help those following in my footsteps, whenever and however I can.
I have learned that all humans have a capacity for healing themselves and others, and that understanding, honing, and using those human abilities are some of the most fulfilling things we can do. The simplest acts of deep listening, holding space, and hugging are profound blessings we all have the ability to bestow on everyone we meet.
My life mission is to shine a light of awareness and clarity for people, to show them how powerful they truly are to effect change in their own lives, and to encourage them to bless others with the universally human gifts they may not even know they have.
I will be continuing and expanding my mission to serve individuals, groups, and the world
*as a Licensed Massage Therapist, by providing relief from pain and stress using Massage Therapy, and enlightening my clients around the importance of touch
*as a Boundaries and Consent Coach, teaching respectful and meaningful ways to connect
*as a Certified Life Coach, by helping to shift perspective and bring clarity around challenges, and transform them into peace and joy
*as Founder and Chief Huggin' Fool of the Meetup group Embrace the World, by offering love and much-needed healthy touch to our communities, along with awareness about healthy touch, boundaries, and consent
*as a Mentor, by bringing information, awareness, and experiential workshops on topics of Boundaries and Consent, and Peer Massage to groups of children and adults, in order to help create a more respectful and healthy world
*as a writer, by creating texts for children, adolescents, and their parents, that seek to enlighten, empower and encourage.
*as a Human, by moving through this world as a force of love, and empowering others to do the same
*and by setting the example that self-care is crucial to our well-being. I work at my own pace, and step back and breathe when I need to. I know my limits, and I honor them.
Life is a rocky path, at some time or another, for all of us.
We can offer a hand, and the hand I offer to steady your steps, also helps me to steady mine.
As Ram Dass once said, "We are all just walking each other home."
So I'll ask again: Want to come along?
