Massage Therapy and Healthy touch

I graduated from Northern Virginia Community College's Massage Therapy program Summa Cum Laude in 2015. I owned and operated Embrace Positive Touch LLC in Fredericksburg until 2017, when I closed it to focus on my treatment for cancer. Since moving to Heathsville in 2019, I have provided massage at The Tide's Inn and at Abilities Abound.  (Massage offered here is not in conjunction with The Tide's Inn or Abilities Abound.)

Specifically designed to relax the Mother To Be!

Swedish Massage consists of light strokes for the purpose of relaxation. Stretching and deep work is not included with Swedish.  A good choice for people who enjoy a lighter touch.

Deep Tissue Massage should not hurt!  Offering a combination of Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage, this massage is designed to relieve muscular pain and aid in relaxation.  Pressure is always adjusted to your preference. 

The same luxurious  combination of Deep Tissue and Swedish Massage as above, but MORE, plus the added benefit of slow stretching of legs, arms, neck, and back to relieve muscular pain and to aid  deeper relaxation. I prefer to give a 90 min massage, as I can do more for you with more time. I charge accordingly to encourage you to indulge in more You-time!  So, no, it's not a typo! Treat yourself right!

My Massage Therapy services are limited to women. I am no longer working with couples and men. I am happy to give recommendations if you need massage for couples or men.

Includes 7 minutes of chair massage per female guest, and 3 minutes between each for me to clean the chair. 6 women per hour.  Depending upon the number of guests, I may bring additional therapists with me.

Research shows that intentional, compassionate touch helps people heal faster, boosts the immune system, and decreases pain. If someone you love is in a nursing home or recovering in the hospital or at home, send them  hand or foot massage!

I will travel to your friend (or you) and deliver 30 minutes of gentle hand and forearm massage or hand and foot massage (their preference) with hypo-allergenic lotion. Please contact me for limitations on this offering.  Price includes 20 mile radius from Heathsville, VA. Please contact me for further distances.

SO many reasons!  It helps your baby (even a Fostered  or Adopted child!) bond with their caretaker better. It gives them a strong sense of autonomy over their body (one of the key lessons is consent!) It helps with sleep, colic, digestion, immune system and nervous system function. It's a wonderful, peaceful way to set a calm and reassuring tone for your family. Children can learn to give massage to their siblings. AMAZING stuff. Gift certificates available!
